Mrs. Joya Mitchell, Director of Student Services is proud to announce student and staff award winners for the prestigious R.A Horn Outstanding Student Achievement Award and the Franklin B Walter Outstanding Educator Award. Congratulations to Kelly Harlan and Amy Oldham- Outstanding Educator Award and Natalie Gearhart- GMS Outstanding Student Award and Ryley Gibbs- GHS Outstanding Student Award.
The Franklin B. Walter Award is given to an outstanding educator or team from each of the 16 State Support Teams in Ohio. Recipients have made extraordinary contributions to the education of non-typical students.
The R. A. Horn award is presented to exemplary special education students in various categories from each of Ohio’s 16 State Support Team regions.
These awards are quite an honor. Congratulations!
