CITY OF GREEN, OHIO: City of Green Appoints New Clerk of Council

City of Green, Ohio issued the following announcement on Jan. 5.

Effective January 2021, the duties of Council Clerk will transfer to the City of Green’s new Clerk of Council, Nichole Baldinger.

Baldinger has served in several roles at the City of Green beginning as a dispatcher for the Green Division of Fire in 2006. In 2012, she moved to the Zoning Department as secretary before serving as the administrative secretary for the Planning Department. Since 2012, Baldinger has also been the recording secretary for the Historic Preservation Commission, Design Review Board and the Planning & Zoning Commission. She also served as the President of the City of Green's American Federation of Station, County and Municipal Employees Union for over 6 years.

Baldinger attended Kent State University. She currently lives in Clinton, Ohio with her three daughters.

Baldinger accepted the promotion to Clerk of Council following the retirement of long-time Council Clerk Molly Kapeluck, who will officially retire at the end of February 2021.
