City of Green, Ohio issued the following announcement on Oct. 19.
Mayor Gerard Neugebauer and Green’s City Council are currently accepting applications for appointment to several of the City of Green’s Boards and Commissions. Applications are being accepted for the following: Board of Zoning Appeals, Planning & Zoning Commission, Design Review Board*, Parks & Recreation Board*, and the Historical Preservation Commission. Applicants must be a resident of the City of Green.
Interested citizens can apply by submitting a resume and letter of interest on or before November 20, 2020 at 4 p.m. to Kelly Lavaco at klavaco@cityofgreen.org or P.O. Box 278, Green, OH 44232.
Members of the Design Review Board and Planning and Zoning Commission receive a stipend quarterly for their service. All other boards and commissions are volunteer positions. Members of the Board of Zoning Appeals and Design Review Board should have experience or recognized competence in the areas of construction, architecture, or real estate. For all other boards and commissions, experience in a particular field conducive to the board appointment is encouraged and recommended.
