The Legislative Review & Government Affairs Committee is a Standing Committee of City Council as established by the Rules of Council approved on March 11, 2021. This Committee will review proposed rewrites or additions to the City's Codified Ordinances and review State or County-level legislation that may affect the City. The Council members appointed by Council President Wesley Smith to serve on this Committee are as follows: Mayor Sarah Mays (Chair), Councilman Thomas Scrivens, and Councilwoman Rebekah Dean. These meetings are open to the public.
